How can I record from an iOS device and my screen at the same time?

iShowU Instant does not directly support recording an iOS device and a screen at the same time, but there is a way to achieve this using QuickTime Player:

Make sure your iOS device is connected to your Mac via a lightning cable then open QuickTime Player and select New Movie Recording from the File menu.
Click the arrow next to the record button and select your iOS device, then resize and position the window where you want the iOS device to be shown in the recording.
Open iShowU Instant and record the screen with the QuickTime Player window and any other windows you wish to record on it.
