Todays we're talking hotkeys. Lots of hotkeys.

SWB Audio App, as of v1.0.6 can now be driven entirely by shortcuts.
Which, if you have a Stream Deck or similar programmable button device, is a good thing!

You can set hotkeys to
toggle preview,
toggle mic routing
... but more importantly,
you can use hotkeys to select audio devices to be used for preview; or microphone routing, if you want.

First; go to the hotkeys preferences pane.
You'll see there's hotkeys for preview, and routing.
You'll also see below that, two lists.
These are your audio devices.
The first list is a set of outputs, and you can assign a hotkey to any of the devices!
Pressing the assigned hotkey makes that device the selected preview device.

You can do the same with the second list, which is a list of inputs.
Setting up a hotkey here lets you change the input device used; with the "route microphone" function.

So why bother?

Two reasons:
a) keyboard-shortcuts: if you're a keyboard-shortcut person; you're now smiling because you no longer have to use the mouse for common tasks.
b) Elgato Stream Deck.

For those that don't know what a Stream Deck is;
its a small programmable button box,
where each button can have your own defined graphics;
and you can make it do... welll, whatever you want.

One of its features is that it can press hotkeys for you.
So, if you configure it to press the same hotkeys you defined in SWB Audio Apps preferences;
you can drive all of SWB Audio App, using the Stream Deck,
without having to touch your mouse.
