Introduction
How video is recorded in V6 has change d from iShowU Instant.
V6 uses the idea of a canvas, on which various things are painted. That's quite different from Instant, where the size of the output video was the size of the capture area.
While V6 is different, it shouldn't take too long to get used to the idea (I hope!)
Lets cover some cases:
- Canvas. This'll be the output size. You can check it either by looking at the summary (simple mode) or by looking at the right hand side of the toolbar, in pro mode.
- The canvas can always be scaled. I'm showing the default here, but in Settings there's an option to turn it into a slider if that's more to your liking.
So when is the cavas, not?
When you're using a selected area.
In that case, the canvas is set to be the size of the selected area. This is identical to how iShowU Instant worked in the past.
