By default, OSX doesn't let iShowU / iShowU HD see mouse and keyboard events. An option in System Preferences needs to be enabled in order for mouse animations, global shortcuts and keyboard compositing to work as expeced. Here's how you do it:
- Open up System Preferences, and click on Accessibility
- Look down the bottom for the option called "Enable access for Assistive Devices"
- Ensure that this option is enabled.

Thank you for sharing!
This is a serious design flaw that needs addressing immediately. There's also no way to make assignmentsquare iShowU / iShowU HD work with MacOS or Linux without hard coding mouse and keyboard events in the game (that too would need fixing).A quick check of twitch.tv found an active market for OSX compatibility on Twitch, it won't fix itself obviously but this number deserves some attention; where I think more research should be done is how to approach MacOS and Linux gaming compatibility, with some testing of their communities in mind.

Quickly looking at twitch.I believe further study is needed on how to tackle MacOS and Linux game compatibility, with some testing of phrazle their communities in mind, as tv discovered an active market for OSX compatibility on Twitch, which won't repair itself but does merit some attention.
